Biography
In the autumn of 1986 I was born. I was named Elin, and my parents liked me
very much. I was their first child, but since my birth I've gotten two little
brothers.
My whole life I have liked to paint, I grasped the concept of perspective very
early, but I almost stopped painting when I became a teenager. In my
fourteenth year of living, something miraculous happened, I found the website
Elfwood. As I always have loved fantasy in all forms I fell in love with Elfwood
immediately. I had never thought of painting fantasy before, but I started doing
it, and it was fun. When I was 16 I started at a new school, and then the larges
t thing in my life as an artist happened. I found Epilogue. At epilogue you could
only show your art if it was good enough. I suddenly had something to work
towards, a goal. And I became better. When I was 17 I got my first picture into
Epilogue. I am still far from my goal to have everything I paint accepted to
Epilogue, but it has helped me a lot. It has a forum full of fantasy artist
that are ready to help me, and fellow artists, to get better.
When I got 18 and finished school I felt that I wanted to try my wings with art.
I started at an art school, that lasted one year. I learned how to paint, and I
had pottery half the time. I lived at the school, and that was really fun. I felt,
however, that art was not something I wanted to do for a living, so now I am studying
computer science at Gothenburgs University.
When I do not paint I like to read books, mostly fantasy. I also like to write,
and spend time with my family and my fiancé Jens. I love internet, and computers
, wich I often use when doing my art.
When painting my favorite medium is the computer, with Photoshop or painter
and my wacom tablet. When painting traditionally I like pencil most, but I
have begun to understand how fun aquarelle is.
